“I have a Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speaker which is paired with a Aluratek Universal Bluetooth. The Bose speaker has a + and - buttons which I assume are for volume control however I cannot increase or decrease the sound from the speaker?”

I have the same problem, pressing the buttons has no effect. I suspect you need the Bose app on your phone or tablet in order to use those buttons.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The + and - are for volume. You do have to push the button multiple times to change the volume. Mine is paired with my iPhone and I can change the volume from either the phone or the speaker. Hope this helps.
