Does this speaker collect fingerprints? Since this speaker is black, compared to the past generation silver one, does it collect fingerprints on the metal?

Not really. No real issue with fingerprints. If they are such a concern for you though, they do make as cover for $24.99 that protects the metal

No. It is what I would call a matte charcoal gray finish and does not show fingerprints.

No it does not...unless you just ate pizza and your fingers are soaked with grease.
BOSE did a good job with the finish. My thought is that its a charcoal powder coat so it has a very slight rough texture to it to help prevent the infamous finger prints.

The speakers are bluetooth compatible so can be hooked up to a bluetooth enabled reader

No, it does not collect fingerprints. If your hands were oily, I could see it leaving prints though.
