Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no. The 3.5mm plug is AUDIO only and has no connection at all to the 12V of the car. You could use a power adapter (think cigarette lighter) to power the unit, since it changes the voltage to the USB standard 5V. As for "stereo", There really isn't a way (unless you split the audio from the 3.5mm jack) to send L/R channels to the individual units. So while possible, probably not the best use for a unit like this.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Dave, As the SoundLink Mini II has its' own power it will work in the car, however unless the 3.5 mm plugs have discreet stereo channels the speakers will each play the same content.
