• yes they can both be either turned off all together or disconnected from blue tooth. You also have the option of connecting to different Bluetooth devices.

• Yes, you can swich off the bluetooth. There is a button for activation/deactivation of bluetooth

• Yes, there is a power button on the top of the unit. There is no remote control, only the button on the speaker. The speaker also turns itself off after a period of inactivity, so it doesn't continue to drain the battery.
