• The SoundLink Mini supports multi voltage and you just need a plug adapter to use in Europe or elsewhere.

• no not always, the right adaptor does not guarantee the right voltage coming in to the adaptor, any thing over 115 /120 amp will damage battery because it will charge to fast, just like a quick charge battery charger will shorten the life of your recharge able batteries, but this will kill the bose battery its built in. inure over seas just buy a cheap volt meter and test before u plug in and be done with it, if u really don't care thin why ask
