You could, but it's not recommended. The footprint is too small to replace a soundbar or home theater sound system. If you had a small apartment or bedroom, you could pull it off. For a room the size of a living room or master bedroom, I would recommend a soundbar. It cost the same, but you will have larger volume, and range with a subwoofer. The speaker has a 3.5mm jack.
