• Yes! Just keep in mind that if your gonna have it on full blast you will have to kee the charger close.

• That would depend on how large an area you want sound to reach, if you back the bose close to a wall it boosts the bass and pushes sound forward, we have an above ground pool and with the family and kids we still have to keep the volume less than full and still sounds crystal clear

• Great Question, the SoundLink Portable Bluetooth speaker III gets pretty loud but in a large space with a lot of people may be overwhelmed. You might consider the Bose SoundTouch 30 III for a large space.
