- Answer "Ready to connect" does mean that the speaker will be discoverable. Go to the Bluetooth list on your device and select the speaker to connect.

- Answer I would not recommend this speaker for that purpose. I would look at a smaller BT speaker with an integrated clip. Sorry, might not be the help you were seeking . . .
