• The one I bought in the US uses only the 120v AC 60hz that came with it. However that voltage gets bumped down to I believe 12v & can be used with your standard car charging ports & cigarette lighter systems with a charger made for such abd/or a portable battery recharging system like a jiucebox & etc.

• Not without an adapter. It comes with a plug for 120 via a USB port. So if you have an adapter that has a USB port, the speaker will work.
