A:AnswerFirst, I would say be 100% sure your headset is COMPLETELY plugged in all the way. The mic portion is at the very end of the plug (as it goes in) and may not be making good contact.
According to this thread I found on Reddit, quite a few people are using Android-compatible inline mic earbuds on their Xbox One just fine.
Since I use these earbuds with my Samsung Note 9, I'm assuming they're Android-compatible. :)

A:AnswerThese are wired headphones. If your receiver has a headphone jack you should be able to listen to anything on that receiver with any pair of headphones (including these). You will probably have to get an adapter since most receivers have a larger headphone jack (1/8" female to 1/4" male adapter needed). These adapters are readily available.

While both headsets are able to play audio from either type of device, the on-board controls will only work with the noted type of device, so please check that you are using the most appropriate headset if you would like to control your audio this way!

A:AnswerThese will work on an android (at least a Samsung Galaxy S5) as headphones only (the ones with no remote). The remote is not functionable. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and they sound great. Other than the non functionable remote, I have no complaints.
