No, they are not very loud for me. I was really disappointed in the volume level. They sound really good the base is there, it's just really low when you can hear somebody that is talking very low when the headphones are at full volume, they're not that loud and you are not going to hurt your ears with them. That's my experience with mine at least. When you consider the fact that I can hear somebody and everything that's going on around me when they are on max volume, I don't think it's only me. I hope that helps. I have model with the inline mic so they were 149 99. These ones might be louder I don't know.
