Please try again later.No you do not need a adapter for the Bose in ear headphones I have a iPhone 6s Plus as well when I got my headphone I just plug them into my headset jack and it work perfectly I can listen to my music with no problems and what I love about the headphones I can talk threw the headphones as a earpiece so loving that feature and it’s noise reduction as well I mean it not completely noise reduction but I hear very to little noise around me. To answer your question again and I repeat you do not need no adapter for these headphones or for any Bose headphones because my daughter have a pair as well different color no adapter needed. I’m glad to answer your question and by the way the sound is awesome better then beats that’s my opinion.
