• The in ear retainer prevents them from falling out my ears and dont bother me at all. So i think yes it would be great for reading audio books on a bike.

• The ear phones sound great ,the problem was that the ear plugs wouldn't stay in ,maybe it's just me but none of the plugs fit well enough to stay in my ears. I bought head phones instead problem solved.
