Hello there! Thank you for your question. The SoundTouch 10 wireless speaker is designed for easy setup. You simply plug it into a power outlet, connect it to your home's Wi-Fi, and control it with the SoundTouch app. It is dual voltage and the input power is 100-240 V 50/60 Hz, and 30 W. Very easy to use, no rechargeable battery on this unit. Has to be plugged in

Exactly, this speaker is simple and very easy to setup, no batteries. Absolutely the best.
