Bose makes another model that is noise cancellin these are not them ...and yes you can get noise cancelation alone with out music ..and they do plug into most modern airlingn entertainment systems
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They were very comfortable but are not noise cancelling. I did use them to watch 2 movies on my last flight. I was seated over the wings so it was still a little less loud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most in-flight entertainment systems will have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack that is compatible with our in ear headphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used mine many times with the airlines inflight entertainment systems. No problems there - the airlines no longer use that two pronged plug. Advantage of these in-ear headphones is that some airlines will tell you to remove the over the ear headphones as a safety precaution during take-off and landing. These you can leave on all the time. I have used mine as well without any input when I wanted to sleep on the plane. They work well to cancel almost all of the engine noise. You can still hear some other sounds (chatter and the pilot communications to passengers) but they are 80-90% muted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These headphones are perfect for comfort and noise cancelling. I play the drums, and wearing these headphones I can't even hear the drums over the music! And I barely had them turned up. They'll be perfect for what you need.
