The SoundTrue Ultra In-Ear Headphones (iOS) were specifically designed to have a greater level of compatibility with Apple devices so if you use them on an Android phone what most likely would happen would be you would be able to use them to listen to music but you wouldn't be able to control the volume and playback with the inline controls on the wire or use the microphone. I would recommend using the Samsung model which would be more compatible with Android devices. I hope that this helped answer your question!

A:AnswerI have purchased both. We upgraded to the Soundtrue when they were out of Soundsport and my daughter was very happy. The style is the same, but it's the sound quality that is much different. Its noise canceling feature is great. Sometimes too great when she can't hear. If you can afford the extra $20 it is worth it! Our store has sales every now and again and so you might be able to get them for the price of the Soundsport around New Years.
