• If your smart TV has a way to hook up to a Bluetooth speaker, yes. The speaker remote has buttons to switch to either an optical or HDMI wired connection to the TV or to make a Bluetooth connection to a phone, a pad or other Bluetooth source, like a computer.

• Yes with the Samsung TV you connect it through blue tooth and then have to choose it as your sound system under settings
