• No, you will connect to your TV via the provided optical cable or HDMI cable (sold separately). Bluetooth connectivity is made available if you wish to stream audio through your speaker.

• You do not need bluetooth. The sound bar is connected either using an HDMI cable (sold separately) or the included audio optical cable. The speaker does have bluetooth so you can connect you phone (via bluetooth) to listen to any music app that you may have on your smart phone.
