No, they connect via network but you will need an electrical outlet to plug in each unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The speakers do not connect to the Soundbar with wires. Each speaker has a wireless receiver that has a power cord and then speaker wire for placement. I don’t know the length of the speaker wire as I didn’t unravel them for my placement, but appears to be ample for a large room. I wish that they were truly wireless, however the sound is amazing. I hear so much more when watching movies than I did before. I think that you will be very pleased with the results. I have the Soundbar 500 and Base Module as well.
