Hello Paul. Correct - unlike conventional headphones, the Px8S2 headphones have built-in microphones. This means when you are listening to audio/music from your phone (with Bluetooth or wired) and a call comes in, all you have to do is accept the call on your phone and the Px8S2s allow the call conversation to happen automatically while they are still covering your ears. It's very convenient.
