Yes you can. The bottom part with the roller is the biggest, heaviest part but it is relatively flat. There are also two upright rails made of steel, several plastic parts and the control panel. If you're going to use it in the basement you should definitely assemble it there. If you are picking it up from the store please know that the box is yuge. Due to liability issues, they will not let you leave if the back hatch does not close. I picked mine up in a Traverse and it just barely fit. Recommend a large pickup if you have access to one.
