Hey Jessie. I too had a little difficulty installing the mount on the vent but very simple once I figured it out. The spring part is supposed to touch the front if the vent and you apply a little pressure to allow the spring to compress. And the rear of the mount will 'claw' the back part of the vent making a tight grip. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vent clip arms have spring loaded latches, pull the springs back and hook the other end on the back of the vent louver, release the springs and your done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to google instructions, but it will still fall off, I wouldn’t use it !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never uninstalled one before from the dashboard. However, I have installed mine on the glass. I have moved it several times before I got the position just right. I used a butter knife twice because the suction was so strong. I hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some vents have wider vents then other vehicles so its not one size fits all

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there Jessie, thanks for your question! This mount has both a suction cup (for dashboard / windshield) and vent clips (for air vents). In order to use the vent clip feature, slide the gooseneck piece and suction cup up off the back of the mount. Then, slide the vent clips into the back of the mount securely. I would recommend watching the video for the TripGrip that is on Best Buy, this offers a great visualization of how this process works.
