• No, copying works very well without a connected computer. I believe a connection to a network/Internet is only needed to setup the printer.

• Dear Pepper; Making copies does not require a wireless Internet or a computer connection. You could even set this machine up by itself, and start making copies all day. The good news is that you don't need to be connected to print. Nice printer, too. Best of luck.
