• If you print something that is coming from your PC/laptop, . . . . .the PC/laptop can connect to the 5G network typically. Mine does. When it sends a document to the printer for printing, my BROTHER MFC-L3770CDW COLOR LASER MULTI-FUNCTION PRINTER, can print the document even though it can only connect to a 2G network. On it's own, my Brother color laser printer can't connect to a 5G network to print. Since my laptop can connect to a 5G network, my Brother color laser printer can talk to my laptop through wifi and print documents from my laptop. Hope this helps.
