“Bought these lights yestreday. Appears to work with ge app fine. But the google home app on phone doesnt seem to detect it. I dont have google home or google mini. I do have the insignia smart speaker near by. I tried to update firware and factory reset.”

• Hi Arun. Our lights are only Made for Google compatible using Google Home branded devices. In order to use the lights with Google Assistant without a Google Home device, you need one of our Wi-Fi products to supply the Wi-Fi connection to the lights. • You must have a hub, and then I was only able to get a single light to connect with google home mini and no good with echo dot.
