This is not finger print proof. I have this model and in the first year I had 6 service calls from GE. GE service is horrendous. If you decide to buy this, also get an extended warranty.

Even worse, you have to touch it everything you close the door, meaning the handle is not reachable when the door is fully opened and almost touching the floor. Dishwasher works ok but constantly wiping the prints off.
