Hi there - Thanks for your interest in our lovely Café Espresso Machine. There is no Teflon on/in the Espresso Machine. Plastic does come in contact with the coffee during the brewing process and the plastic is BPA free. All wetted parts are BPA free. We hope you find this information helpful.
