According to onmsft.com, while the Xbox One version of COD is playable on the Series X, it doesn't support any of the upgrades you get with the next-gen version - specifically ray tracing, spatial sound, and higher framerates (120FPS). If you don't have a halfway decent headset or sound system, and a TV that can support 120 FPS, it probably isn't worth forking out the extra $10 just for prettier graphics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buying that allows you to play on your xbox one x or s or first edition xbox, and then if you buy a Series X or S later on you will be able to play it on there as well (with whatever upgrades in terms of performance and graphics) if you buy the 60$ xbox version you will only be able to play it on what is now the older generation of xbox. The only reason you would buy the 60$ version is if you don't play to buy the Xbox series X or S in the next year or so before the next call of duty comes out.
