It should. It adapts the EF mount to the RF mount and puts the EF lens at the proper position so it focuses the image on the sensor. It also provides the control ring that RF lenses have. That ring can be mapped to provide a number of controls like ISO selection. I have it for my R7 and it works perfectly for the EF mount lenses I had for my 70D.
