The camera is Canon's top of the line camera body for professional sports and wildlife photographers and is capable of shooting 16 frames per second using the optical viewfinder and 20 frames per second in LiveView mode. If you compare it to the Nikon D6, the specs are almost identical in everyway between the two cameras and the Nikon has the same exact price. It also boasts a 1,000 shot buffer when shooting in RAW+JPEG, which is a crazy amount of buffering. It has 3,869 manually selectable autofocus points and shoots 4K video as well. It is built like a tank and features some of the most outstanding weather sealing of any DSLR on the market. If you are a professional photographer, which I am, the camera is easily worth the price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The previous person that answered stated that this camera "has 3,869 manually selectable autofocus points". Who or when on God's green earth would EVER need this many?? I guess I missed something somewhere along the line!
