My Niece did a few weddings with an EOS T-3i with great results. All in all should severve you fine for Less than half the pric of the 5D

I recently upgraded from a 5 year old APS-C Canon camera and it pales in comparison in every way. There are 45 AF points (compared to my old 19) but they are confined to about the same sensor area as what I had before. For me no loss, same coverage with more points is good but I still have to focus-n-recompose where almost all professionals have moved on to other cameras with almost full sensor coverage eliminating that requirement. From what I can tell online the 5Dm3 has about the same sensor coverage as the 6Dm2 so that would be a wash for you also BUT you are going down in the number of AF points. I think the biggest things for you to think about as a professional would be are you wiling to give up a dedicated AF point selector (I don't think I would once I finally get one) and a backup memory card. Here are some youtube links that I think may help you out also. I'm not a huge fan of this reviewer but he is knowledgeable and has a dedicated video for the exact question you are asking. He also has some dedicated 6Dm2 reviews and includes links to downloadable RAW files so you could do a comparison against your 5Dm3 photos.
