“I was told that if I had a Canon and used the 75-300 lens that I would need to use a tripod or the photo would not be clear. Is this true?”

• Not true at all. I recently purchased this camera and I am a very inexperienced photographer. I take pictures of my son playing lacrosse, many action shots with this lens and I do not use a tripod and the photos are very clear.
