“Will ink pads dry/harden if occasionally used? Never had a problem with ink jets drying ... are mega tanks any different?”

Mine dried out even though used regularly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure - I use the printer on a nearly daily basis. That being said, I have left it for a few days and never had a problem. I've never had a problem with the printer ink tanks. There was one time in the past year when it stopped and said it needed ink added but clearly didn't. I rebooted everything a few times, opened and closed the ink tank lids, and got it going again. Not sure why that happened. No problems since.
