QuestionCould you tell me what I need to hook my canon pixma mx492 printer to my apple MacBook manually. I do not have a reliable wireless connection at school.

- Answer I'm afraid Best Buy has me confused with someone else. I had to pay 86.50 for the Geek Squad (consisting of 1 Geek, to hook it up for me. I still have trouble using the different functions. My 14 year old nephew is going drop by and "tutor" me in the vagaries of all things technical. Sorry and good luck. I know now I should never have written that youpost script. Drummer boy from Illinois.

- Answer I don't know the answer to that question. I have the printer running and am happy with it. The only thing I don't like is the single color cartridge. It's my fault for nor researching the type of color cartridge. As to whether it is bluetooth capable, I can't say. I don't have a user manual to check up on it. Sorry

- Answer Paper tray is in front. There is a bypass paper feed in back. Top is feed for scanner / copier / fax function.

- Answer Yes, this can be left on and in standby mode. The light changes when it is standby. This model is inkjet, so the cartridges could possible dry out. Laser printers are the ones where the cartridges do not dry out.

QuestionI put new black ink cartridge in, I tried cleaning the color one now it says check ink, at first it was printing blue now the yellow light is on and it won't print at all
