• the printer will can be configured to use plain paper, photo paper plus glossy II, photo paper pro platinum, photo paper pro luster, photo paper plus semi-gloss, matte photo paper, other glossy paper. I would recommend the Canon Matte Photo Paper (#8657B010) or Fine Art Paper (#1711C004) for printing posters.

• Yes It can do photos and posters. You can use different types of paper if you go into the settings on a Mac. I’m not sure about a Windows based PC.
