- Answer Yes you can you must purchase a cord that connects the printer to the computer/laptop. I think it's like a USB cord connection, not sure if the name is correct but that is how I use mine. Ask a represenative at best buy, I'm sure they can point you toward the cord you need.

- Answer Once you put the software on your computer you can select scan and it will simply create a file on your computer or laptop. You can feed the paper on top.
