Yes, because they are placed in different cartridges. I must say I haven't tried printing like that--printing from regular paper and then printing on photo card stock. You might want to wait for someone who has had the printer longer than I have (three weeks). But I still think it is possible, for when you go to print, you select which paper cartridge you want to print to. It just makes sense to me. I have had several different printers in my day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. One would load in the front letter cartridge and photo paper in the back of the unit. Or vice versa. Mine stopped working because it’s stuck on an “ out of paper” code, when the cartridge has plenty of paper. You might want to look online for Canon printer discussions and Q&A. It worked for about 3-1/2 months.
