QuestionDoes this printer have a ethernet port?

- Answer No. It's not there. I know it's listed in the features, but I can't find it anywhere. I called Best Buy and they looked at theirs and couldn't find it either. It's not there. The ethernet port is THE reason I bought this after researching and now I have to return it and find another.

QuestionDoes this printer have easy WPS set up to get it on my WiFi or do I need to set up thru my computer with cable first? ( I want to print directly from my iPad right away and my computer isn’t working.) Thanks!

- Answer you don't need the computer I have a Samsung A20 phone and the set up take less than 10 minutes . I download the canon print on my phone from play store and just follow the instructions. put the photo paper in the back tray the photo came out like a pro

- Answer Yes, it will print anything from 3.5 x 3.5 up to 8.5 x 11, including the more common 4 x 6 and 5 x 7

- Answer It does not have a feeder for scanning. Each document must be placed on the scanner one at a time.

- Answer I can answer about print heads. All cartridges feed a single print head. Regarding the maximum thruput thickness, perhaps the online manual may give you the information you seek. It is viewable online or downloadable.

QuestionI want to save; pictures from an SD card to my computer in a Doc File..... Not.... just print off. I need to also print off from WordPad. not just a pdf file. Will, this canon do this? Also I need to use a USB cord; I'm not set up for wireless.

- Answer Don't really understand your questions about the files, but the USB for this printer is only used for setting it up. You NEED WiFi for this printer to work.

- Answer I would think so if it's 16lb or 20lb weight paper. It prints on color paper, too. I do not think it would be able to print on ruled, three-hole punch paper that I remember from my school days!

- Answer Yes, because they are placed in different cartridges. I must say I haven't tried printing like that--printing from regular paper and then printing on photo card stock. You might want to wait for someone who has had the printer longer than I have (three weeks). But I still think it is possible, for when you go to print, you select which paper cartridge you want to print to. It just makes sense to me. I have had several different printers in my day!
