Nope. This is for Canon mirrorless cameras like the EOS R6, EOS R5 and EOS R.

The product description for this lens is "RF 100-400mm f/5.6-I IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon RF Mount Cameras - Black". First of all, there's an error. The maximum aperture range is f/5.6 to f/8. We don't use the letter "I" to specify aperture. This appears to be an error unique to the Best Buy website. The important point to notice is that part that says "for Canon RF Mount Cameras". The eos rebel t6 in no wise uses an RF mount. The RF lens mount was developed for Canon's full-frame mirrorless line of cameras (models such as the EOS R, EOS RP, EOS R6, EOS R5, EOS R3). It is not compatible with previous Canon lens mount systems. It would behoove you to know which lens mount system your interchangeable lens camera uses. It will make shopping for lenses so much easier.

You would need an RF lens to EF body adapter. Price wise look into the EF 70-300 IS STM
