• If you have a DSLR, RF lenses are not backwards compatible. So, no, the RF 100-400 lens will not work with the Canon Rebel t7. However, mirrorless Canons (e.g. R, R6, R5, etc.) can use EF lenses with an EF-RF adapter. Hope this helps.
