The EF to RF adapter is used to adapt EF lenses onto RF cameras. RF lenses cannot be adapted onto EF cameras due to the shorter flange distance, where an adapter would not physically fit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. An EF to RF adapter allows one to attach an EF lens to an RF camera body. The situation you present is the opposite. This is an RF mount lens, and the camera you mention uses an EF lens mount. Nobody makes an RF to EF adapter. If you want to use RF lenses, upgrade your camera. A good "budget" choice might be the R8. Or perhaps a step up would be the R6 mark II. Or if you're getting more serious, you can save up some money while waiting for the R5 mark II to be released.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. An EF/EF-S to RF adapter would allow you to use an EF/EF-S lense (like from your T1I) on a new Canon body that has an RF mount. I got that type of adapter to use my old lenses with a new mirroless body. With that being said, I like the new RF lenses better with the new RF mount body and dont use my old lenses much, even with an adapter. I went from a T1I to an R7 and the difference is like night and day.
