• I have mine on an RP. I've been happy with the quality and didn't have to spend 1000's on a lens.

• You will definitely have the range however the Canon RP is too slow and doesn’t have high frames plus it doesn’t have the autofocus of the newer R6, R5 or R7. It will work I went to the zoo and took some nice shots just don’t expect to get great results with fast moving items. As for the Lenses is bargain the quality is excellent especially at the center
