Yes. I have taken it fishing in wet/misty conditions and it has performed well. You have great control over the optical zoom that you might not get with other action cams for those conditions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you mean like a trail camera, then no. This camera only has 5 hours of juice. It will also shut itself down if not recording after a period of time. I suppose you could set it up on a trail and have it start recording. Then it would record until the external memory card was full. Now if you are taking with to record your hunt it should work in the rain. But if you drop it from a tree stand. No, to high of a drop for the shockproof feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a GoPro Black and this camcorder. Both could be used but the Canon allows you to zoom up quicker and more accurately than the GoPro would. So if your goal is to capture video of animals moving through forest and getting video up close from a distance then get the Canon. If you goal is to get shots of non moving images that is reasonably close either would work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I think this would be a great choice for outdoor sports! It gets some very nice photos outside and the 40X zoom would be nice as well as the shock and water proofness. The battery life seems great too!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This camera should be great for hunting. Its waterproof, so rain, snow or shine it can be used without hesitation. It has a 40x optical zoom, which is perfect for setting up and recording your bait, trap or hunting area. If that's not enough zoom, it has a 200x zoom but you will lose some quality after going over 40x.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with a GoPro and stay away from this camcorder
