• Yes, it has a window that shows how much liquid is in the pot including measure levels for 0.8L, 1.25L, and 1.7L. I tested how long it took to boil 1.7L of water ==> 6 minutes.

• Yes the water window is behind the handle and not that hard to see. Have never timed how long it takes to heat, best guess about 4 minl
