“Does this kettle have any plastic that comes in contact with the water?”

Know that container is All Glass the only rubber or plastic is at the top where you pour your water in and it's made to handle the heat otherwise what your boiling is in Pure Glass nothing else

Yes. Because of the answers "No" to this important question, I bought the kettle. I found that YES plastic comes in contact with the hot water as you pour it out. The spout is plastic and there is a mesh filter in front of the spout that has some type of metal and plastic. This will be the reason I return it.

I don't see any plastic coming into contact with the water.

No plastic comes into contact with the water, however the only exception is if you are using the tea infuser which comes with the product. It is very easy to take in or out.
