• You are working with blown hot air so its pretty much immediately hot..

• It doesn't need to preheat. You set the temperature and timer, load food into the drawer and push the drawer in. It begins cooking once you close the drawer.

• It doesn't have to preheat but it doesn't get as hot as my old one and takes twice as long to cook

• No, there is no preheating, but I just add one or two minutes to the time if pre-heating is required; pre-heating happens super fast.
