“I have a ring security system that came with a WiFi extender but my ring doorbell still has a hard time with video , will the chime pro work better for my ring doorbell . Does the extender that came with the system only work for the security system itself”

I purchased the chime extender to aide my ring floodlight cam & it seems to be ding well, plus I really like the chimes. Hope this helps!

Please try again later.The Chime Pro is supposed to help with your doorball's ability to communicate with your router...it sets up a new network in your house to get the Ring signal to your wifi. It SHOULD help with video. I returned my Chime Pro because it actually made the signal going from the door bell to the router WORSE. You wifi speed, I think, is the biggest determining factor as to the video you will receive on your phone.
