• You can, but the chromecast is only able to connect to WIFI out of the box. you can purchase a usb-C hub to utilize ethernet connectivity if needed.

• Yes. You can cast content from your PC to the TV with Chromecast with Google TV. You just need to have the latest version of Chrome browser on your laptop and connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast to cast to your TV.
