Yes, you can pair Chromecast with Google TV on Bluetooth-enabled headphones, headset, or speakers to listen to the audio of the video content you're streaming.

I have learned that not all Bluetooth devices are created equal so the type of speaker you have really matters that includes headphones. Prerequisites: - Need something that supports Bluetooth to bridge speaker What I did without knowing much about this product is purchased this Bluetooth bridge, Avantree Audikast Plus Bluetooth 5.0, affordable and pairs Bluetooth devices. I first tried with, Toshiba TY-GC1000 High-Resolution Google Cast Wireless Bluetooth Audio, which had terrible delays and the Bluetooth was inconsistent. I mention this because I tried to go cheap here and I have come to the conclusion that it affected the performance. I kept getting an audio delay where the words were completely off and it looked like bad lip sync battle. In your case I believe your receiver should be good enough quality and plugging the audio AUX out should work for you. You would use the Avantree Bluetooth bridge connect that to the audio out aux or Bluetooth if supported and it would pair your tv with the Avantree along with any Bluetooth enabled speaker. This includes headphones naturally, since your Google TV is in sync with your TV receiver yourAudio should get picked up and sent to the Avantree. Something else to consider here, I ended up doing is buying Google Nest Audio for my room (didn't want a soundbar just better sound at night) and the Avantree worked great to sync my Nest with my projector. Interestingly enough, still researching, it looks like Google Nest Audio has native audio integration with Google TV where I may not need the Bluetooth bridge but for what its worth, my JBL speakers also worked well during the same experiment so please consider a good quality speaker with at least Bluetooth 3 support which applies to headphones as well.
