“Can this remote be transferred to and be "learned" by a Logitech Harmony universal remote with the Logitech Harmony software like all of my other devices? I've tried and it will not work. The Chromecast remote sends an IR signal so it should work.”

The Voice Remote can only be paired with Chromecast with Google TV. For the best experience we only recommend using the remote included with your Chromecast with Google TV, not third party remotes. It uses Bluetooth and also uses Infrared (IR) to control your TV like turning it on and off and controlling the volume. Once you set up the voice remote's power, volume, and input buttons with your devices, it should be able to work via infrared (IR) for many devices.
